Mahindra’s heritage two-wheeler brand Yezdi , under the Classic Legends umbrella has shared a teaser of a new motorcycle on social media. The teaser shared by the automaker highlights that the brand will introduce a new motorcycle in the country on April 23rd 2026. Although the automaker has not revealed the name of the upcoming model, indications point towards an update for the Yezdi Scrambler , which has remained largely unchanged since its debut in early 2022.
The Yezdi Scrambler is currently the only motorcycle in the company’s portfolio that has not received a major update in recent years. So, if we are to assume that the upcoming model will be the 2026 model year Scrambler, then the updated model is likely to be introduced with revised styling and rear suspension setup. These changes can improve the ride comfort while addressing feedback related to the stiff rear setup in the existing model. The new model can also boast more wheel travel in comparison to the current existing model.

Apart from these mechanical changes, the 2026 Yezdi Scrambler is also expected to get cosmetic updates like new colour schemes and updated graphics, while the overall design is likely to remain unchanged. Feature additions could also be part of the update.
The 2026 model year Scrambler is expected to retain the existing Alpha 2, 334cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 28.7bhp and 28.2Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. No major mechanical changes are anticipated for this version. More details are expected to be announced at the official launch on April 23.
