Nissan Commences 4th Generation X-TRAIL Deliveries In India

Nissan Motor India commenced deliveries of the 4th Generation X-TRAIL in India, beginning with the first unit handed over at the launch of the Jubilant Nissan showroom in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. This model, imported from Japan, is powered by Variable Compression Turbo technology and features Nissan’s latest XTRONIC CVT and mild hybrid system, aiming to offer a refined driving experience.
Coinciding with this milestone, Nissan expanded its network in Karnataka by inaugurating three new customer touchpoints in Bengaluru, consisting of two showrooms and a service workshop. This brings Nissan’s total number of customer touchpoints in Karnataka to 18, with 10 sales and 8 service outlets across the state.
The new Jubilant Nissan showrooms, covering a combined area of 6,600 square feet, along with a 13,600 square foot high-capacity service workshop, are part of Nissan’s broader plan to strengthen its presence in key markets, with Bengaluru being a focal point in the brand's expansion strategy in southern India.
Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL), said, “The Southern region is a significant contributor to Nissan’s sales in India, with Karnataka emerging as one of our strongest markets, and Bengaluru being a key city in this region. In line with our commitment to enhancing customer experiences, we have expanded our network in this vibrant city. The new Jubilant Nissan touchpoints will further strengthen our presence in Karnataka and meet the growing demand for Nissan domestic and CBU products. We are on track to touch 300 touchpoints by the end of this fiscal and the delivery of the first 4th Generation X-TRAIL to a former X-TRAIL owner and Nissan afficionado is testament to our CBU business plans in India.”
