The Seltos is available with three engine options - the 1.5L 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 113.42bhp and 144Nm of torque; the 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 157.81bhp and 253Nm of torque; the 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine producing 114.41bhp and 250Nm of torque. Transmission options include - 6-speed MT, 6-speed iMT, IVT, 6-speed AT and 7-speed DCT.

The XUV 7XO is available with two engine options - the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 200bhp and 380Nm of torque; the 2.2L 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine producing 183.72bhp and up to 450Nm of torque. Transmission options include 6-speed MT and 6-speed AT.

The Kia Seltos measures 4,460mm in length, 1,830mm in width, 1,635mm in height and it has a wheelbase spanning 2,690mm.
