Design
The latest teaser shows a Firestorm Orange BE 6 Electric Origin SUV, likely in the Pack Two trim. The familiar C-shaped DRL signature is replaced with a simpler eyebrow-style LED strip, while the headlamp units sit slightly lower than before. This suggests a redesigned bumper for the upcoming edition.
At the rear, the BE 6 adopts a cleaner lightbar setup in place of the split C-shaped layout. The SUV continues with the aero wheel design, though Mahindra could explore all-terrain tyres, similar to the ones seen on the earlier Rall-E concept.
Across all teasers, Mahindra is pushing the theme of “Winning Formula”, linking the edition to its Formula E programme and the wider Scream Electric campaign. This has led to speculation around names such as Formula Edition, Formula E Racing Edition, or Racing Edition.
Why Formula E Matters Here
Mahindra’s Formula E operations have seen renewed traction, with the team finishing fourth in the Season 11 Teams’ Championship. Drivers Nyck de Vries and Eduardo Mortara secured five podium finishes. With Season 12 starting in December, Mahindra has already revealed its updated M12Electro race car.
The BE 6 itself has been a part of Mahindra’s Formula E storytelling. Earlier this year, the SUV completed demonstration laps during the 2025 London E-Prix, making it the first Made-in-India electric SUV to run on a Formula E track.
Mechanical Setup
Mahindra is not expected to make changes to the BE 6’s underlying powertrain. The SUV is built on the INGLO platform currently offers:
- 59 kWh battery
- 228 bhp
- Up to 557 km claimed range
- 79 kWh battery
- 282 bhp
- Up to 682 km range
Expected Price
Like the Batman Edition, the new variant is expected to be a limited-run model priced above the standard BE 6. The Formula-inspired edition will likely command a premium due to its special livery, badges and cosmetic updates, it is likely to be introduced with an ex-showroom price tag ranging between Rs 25 to 28 lakh.
