Oben Electric Crosses 10,000 Motorcycle Production Milestone

Indian EV startup, Oben Electric has rolled out its 10,000th electric motorcycle from its manufacturing facility in Bengaluru. The milestone comes as the company expands production to meet demand for the Rorr Evo, which has crossed 25,000 bookings. Deliveries of the electric motorcycle are currently underway across the country.

The Rorr Evo is currently in production, with Oben Electric increasing output to meet customer demand. The company has linked the latest production milestone to the expansion of its electric motorcycle business in India. According to the company, the response to the Rorr Evo has resulted in higher production and deliveries.

Oben Electric operates a 3.5-acre vertically integrated manufacturing facility in Bengaluru, which has an annual production capacity of 1 lakh electric motorcycles.

The company develops and manufactures several EV components in-house, including LFP batteries, motors, vehicle control units (VCUs), chargers and proprietary software.
