Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: The upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 has been spotted in a new video that gives an early indication of its exhaust note. The motorcycle, which is expected to become the largest adventure bike in Royal Enfield’s line-up, can be heard being ridden on the road, with its parallel-twin engine producing a low-pitched and deeper sound.
The Himalayan 750 is expected to use Royal Enfield’s upcoming 750cc parallel-twin engine. While the company has not revealed the engine specifications, test motorcycles have been spotted with the new powertrain across multiple models.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Exhaust Note
The Himalayan 750 seen in the latest video uses a single upswept exhaust, unlike the twin-exhaust setup used on Royal Enfield’s current 650cc motorcycles such as the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650 and Super Meteor 650.
The engine produces a noticeable rumble at idle, with the exhaust note becoming louder as the motorcycle is revved. The larger displacement, revised engine tuning and single exhaust configuration are expected to give the Himalayan 750 a different sound compared with the existing 648cc parallel-twin models.
The exhaust note captured in the video is from a test motorcycle, so the sound could change on the production-spec version.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Expected Engine
Royal Enfield is developing a new 750cc parallel-twin engine that is expected to be based on the company’s existing 648cc twin-cylinder platform. The larger engine has been spotted in several test motorcycles, including the Himalayan 750, Interceptor 750 and Continental GT 750.
The final specifications have not been confirmed. Reports suggest that the 750cc engine could produce around 50-60 bhp and 60-65 Nm, with a six-speed gearbox expected.
The new engine is likely to retain the basic parallel-twin configuration of the existing 650cc motor, while receiving changes to its displacement, internals and tuning.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Expected Wheel Size
The Himalayan 750 has been seen with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup. This is different from the 21-inch front wheel used by the Himalayan 450 and indicates that Royal Enfield is positioning the larger motorcycle towards adventure touring. Test motorcycles have also been spotted with alloy and spoke-wheel configurations.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Expected Suspension
Suspension duties are handled by upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock. The front forks feature adjustable hardware, while the rear suspension has been seen with a remote preload adjuster. Braking is expected to include twin discs at the front and a single disc at the rear.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Expected Features
The Himalayan 750 has also been spotted with equipment aimed at long-distance touring. The right-side switchgear includes dedicated controls that indicate the presence of cruise control.
The motorcycle gets a circular TFT instrument cluster, similar in concept to the setup seen on the Himalayan 450. A joystick-style controller on the left-hand switchgear is expected to allow riders to navigate the display. The system is likely to support smartphone connectivity and navigation.
Other equipment spotted on test motorcycles includes traction control, riding modes and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Royal Enfield has not yet confirmed the complete equipment list.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Expected Design
The Himalayan 750 is larger than the Himalayan 450 and features a more substantial front fairing, larger tank extensions and a taller windscreen.
Royal Enfield has already showcased a pre-production version of the motorcycle at its Himalayan Base Camp event in Ladakh. The motorcycle is expected to retain the Himalayan family’s adventure-oriented design while offering greater road-going capability.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Expected India Launch
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 is expected to make its global debut towards the end of 2026 at EICMA 2026. The India launch for the same is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2027.
